The Gabbe Well-Being Office sponsors small-group sessions teaching individual healthcare professionals and units/floors techniques in mindfulness and resiliency for the high-stress environment healthcare can create.
Sessions meet weekly, for 30-minutes over the course of the 7 weeks, starting with a one hour kickoff session in-person.
Topics include:
Relaxation techniques
Effective sleeping habits
Mindful eating habits
Gentle yoga
Individual guided practices
Fall: September-November
Winter: January-March
Spring: March-May
